About

I originally started the blog as a way to keep our friends and family up to date on our adventures in Rome.

Since then it has turned into a place where I can think out loud.  I cover a lot of ground here.  Formula 1, baseball, family, travel, a smattering of reality television, knitting.  There’s a lot to talk about, hence the name.

  1. Cool blog Kathy! Thanks for sending me the link. Since I won’t get to talk with you when you’re away (sniff!), I’m looking forward to reading about all of your adventures in Rome!

  2. Kathy, I’m enjoying your journal, especially since we were just in Italy last July. We loved Lake Como and northern Italy. Would love to see more pictures of your adventures.

  3. Hey, Kathy. We finally made it to Lugano. I myself am going through an isolation phase with the language, the baby’s needs, and living in a hotel temporarily. My husband is actually in Italy tonight for work. I hope you get this.
You can feel free to come up here and visit. I cannot leave Switzerland until our visas are finished. (i was told this after we drove into Italy for lunch one day, luckily we weren’t stopped at the border). Switzerlarnd is defintely it’s own country. There rules and regulations are mind boggling! Well, write if you can! I wish i could say i had been keeping up on this blog of yours, but i had been too busy in Iowa before moving, and now I find the cost for internet access at the hotel to be quite expensive.

    Take care,

    Nancy

  4. Kathy, what a great blog! It’s fun keeping up with the kids. I feel guilty – We don’t see our kids until Wednesday the 1st. I’ve just finished some training on our new reading system. Flood, spiders, not being able to take a shower….you deserved that 44 oz! Take care – Sharon

  5. Hello,
I came across your website and found it very enjoyable. I just had a couple of questions so if you could e-mail me back that would be great!
